Camps for children

Week-long camps for children: adults who have time for them, a safe space and a simple, honest story about Christ.

Why these camps

Many children rarely have an adult whose time belongs only to them. A camp is a few days when such an adult is close by: they know the child’s name, remember yesterday’s conversation and are in no hurry.

The programme, the games and the schedule are not the goal here but the occasion. The goal is for a child to see love before hearing words about it, so that the words do not sound empty afterwards.

What a child takes home from camp:

  • An adult who was close by the whole week.
  • A safe space — a routine, food, games and a place where nothing has to be earned.
  • A simple and honest story about Christ, without pressure and without promises we cannot keep.
